Your data is yours. Here is exactly what that means.

This page answers the five questions every export founder should ask before putting their business data into any software.

Question 1

Can a competitor on XportStack see my data?

No. Not even accidentally.

Every company on XportStack exists in a completely separate data environment. When you log in, you see only your leads, your buyers, your quotes, your shipments, and your distributors. Another food and beverage exporter using XportStack cannot see any of your data. This is not a permission setting that could be accidentally changed — it is enforced at the database level. Think of it like separate vaults in the same bank building. The building is shared. The vaults are not.

Question 2

Can XportStack staff read my margins, pricing, or buyer contacts?

Only in a specific, logged, and limited circumstance.

Our team does not have routine access to individual customer data. The only time a team member would access your account is if you have raised a support request and given explicit permission. Every access is logged with the team member's identity, the time, and the reason. You can request this log at any time and we will provide it within 48 hours.

Question 3

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Your data does not train any AI model. Ever.

XportStack uses AI to help you draft messages, check compliance, and generate insights. When you use these features, your data is sent to the AI model to generate a response — and that is where it ends. Your data is never stored by the AI provider for training purposes. Your buyer relationships, your pricing strategy, and your market intelligence will never make another company's AI smarter. This commitment is in our Terms of Service as a specific clause, not buried in general language.

Question 4

What happens if something goes wrong?

We tell you within 72 hours and we tell you everything.

If there is ever a security incident that affects your data, we will notify you directly within 72 hours of discovering it. We will tell you exactly what happened, what data was affected, and what we are doing to fix it. We will not wait for a carefully drafted statement. You deserve to know immediately.

Question 5

What if I want to leave XportStack?

You can take everything and leave in under 60 seconds.

Go to Settings, click Export All Data, and within 60 seconds you will have a complete download of every lead, quote, shipment, contact, compliance record, and document you have ever created in XportStack — in a format you can open in Excel or any other system. If you want to permanently delete your account and all data, submit a request and we will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm it in writing. We do not make this difficult. Your data belongs to you.

Four things we will never do

  • We do not sell your data to anyone.
  • We do not share your data with third parties beyond the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy.
  • We do not use your data to train any AI model.
  • We do not allow anyone to access your account without a logged reason and your permission.
